Thanks for being AWESOME!

We are grateful for all monetary donations, large or small! We accept all major credit cards, ACH transactions, and Apple Pay. We also accept cash and check donations. For cash donations, please contact us first. Checks may be mailed to our office at the address below.

You can make a lump sum donation or make a scheduled monthly donation. Donations go to support programs within our pillars: Human Services, Health, Education, Recreation, or Arts. We work to ensure funds you’ve donated are directed to the pillars and programs you have indicated (if any.)

All donations stay here in the Heber Valley! We are an IRS-authorized 501c3. When you donate online and provide your email address, we can provide a tax-deductible receipt immediately for your donation. Each tile below represents a separate fund for which the Wasatch Community Foundation is accepting donations. We have five General Funds, one for each pillar: Human Services, Health, Education, Arts, and Recreation. If you feel passionate about donating to a Pillar’s General Fund, we will utilize your funds within that Pillar’s projects as we best see fit. Please continue scrolling down if you have a specific project you’d like to support.

Specific Projects:

We have specific projects we’re funding that are nestled within a Pillar’s oversight. If you feel passionate about a specific project, you can donate your funds to that particular project.

Human Services

Christmas Food Box Program Fund

With 1,000+ children in our Heber Valley experiencing food insecurity, we wanted our most vulnerable population to not go hungry over the school break during the Christmas holidays. Food is purchased and distributed to the families participating in the Operation Hope program. Last year, 1,200 children received holiday food boxes in Heber Valley.

Human Services

Weekend Backpack Program Fund

One in eight children in the state of Utah go hungry, and about 1,000 of those live here in Wasatch County. Youth don’t go to food pantries, so our Human Services Pillar provides a program where the food pantries go to them. School-age children can discretely come and load their backpacks at school with food for the weekend.

Mobile Home Repairs Fund

Many of our most vulnerable Heber Valley residents live in mobile homes. Some of these mobile homes and the parks they reside in are in need of significant updates and repair. WCF’s Human Services Pillar aids mobile home park owners and residents by providing playground equipment, roofs, appliances and more, creating stability and safety for some Heber Valley residents.

COVID-19 Economic Relief Fund

When March 2020 changed the world, it also changed Heber Valley. Many stable families were suddenly displaced, without work, without shelter, without utilities and/ or without food. Our COVID-19 relief fund continues to help families that were most affected by the pandemic by providing financial relief for housing, utilities and other critical needs.
