Jackie Misiak

Jackie moved to Heber City with her husband several years ago after falling in love with the Heber Valley.

She has two grown children who are working at building their careers and establishing their own lives. Additionally, she has 5 siblings who live all over the country and much of her vacation time is spent traveling to and visiting with parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Jackie has an undergraduate degree in Economics/Business and a master’s degree in Management of Information Systems. Her career was spent enabling business process transformation in conjunction with technology solutions. Her areas of expertise included strategy development and implementation, business process improvement, program and process management and organizational development. She is recently retired and excited to leverage her skills and experience in the not-for-profit arena.

Jackie has always had a passion for serving in the local community. Over the years, she has volunteered in various roles with her church and other non-profit organizations. Much of her work focused on the challenge of homelessness, access to quality food, and encouraging health through physical activity. After moving to the Heber Valley, Jackie and her husband were looking for local organizations that were making a difference, specifically in our county, and were happy to find Wasatch Community Foundation.

Jackie is excited to be part of this community, and is looking forward to working together to help make a difference for the people of Wasatch Count
