Meet Kristin Bunnell, a dynamic soul whose journey has painted her life with hues of adventure, entrepreneurship, and love. Born and raised in the shadow of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Kristin, at 44, carries a rich tapestry of experience.
Her academic pursuits led her to the University of Utah, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Recreation and Tourism. Unsatiable in her quest for knowledge, Kristin continued her studies, delving into the realms of graphic design and marketing, skills that would later form the bedrock of her professional success.
In 2006, a serendipitous 8-year-detour via Park City led Kristin to the enchanting embrace of the Heber Valley. What started as a scenic love affair with the valley blossomed into a deeper connection when she met and fell in love with her now-husband, Ryan Bunnell. Together, they weave a tale of shared dreams and accomplishments as proud owners of Ignition Creative Group, Heber Valley Life Magazine, Wasatch Merch, and Wasatch Jobs.
Beyond her thriving professional life, Kristin is a devoted mother to three remarkable children, each sharing her passion for skiing and biathlon as part of Team Soldier Hollow. In her sanctuary at home, she tends to a lively menagerie of 2 dogs, 1 cat, a flock of chickens and ducks, and a school of vibrant fish.
A lover of the great outdoors, Kristin’s adventurous soul belongs to the mountains. Whether hiking, mountain biking, boating, camping, or gliding up or down snowy slopes, if it involves the open air and blue skies, count her in. Her zest for life is contagious, painting every chapter with a brushstroke of enthusiasm and a palette of vibrant experiences.
