Biography

Marilyn Fowler
Director
Marilyn’s background includes property management, real estate, legal assistant and business startups. She has been involved in many community projects, HOA’s, Fire and EMS Bonds, School Bonds, charity fundraisers and business startups.
Now retired and living here in the Heber Valley with her sweetheart, Tom, Marilyn has been HOA president, and worked with Atty Powell in researching their community water rights. She currently is the ‘Souvenir’ chair for the Heber Valley Cowboy Poetry and has served on the Wasatch Community Foundation Board for seven years. In that capacity, she and Paul Clark started the Christmas Food Box Program for elementary school children.
Marilyn’s love– after Tom, of course– are her 3 children and 8 grandchildren. She is lucky enough to have one grandchild living here in Heber. And yes, she’s still trying to convince the others to move here.
Her favorite activities are hiking, ATVing, snowmobiling and skiing with family and friends. Her mother’s motto “Leave a place better than you found it,” has been her rule to life. Marilyn loves the Heber Valley and ensuring the well-being of its residents.
