The Fundraising Chair serves on the Board of Directors and provides leadership and strategic direction for the organization’s fundraising efforts. This role helps cultivate a culture of philanthropy across the board, ensuring fundraising strategies align with the organization’s mission, values, and long-term sustainability.
Working closely with fellow board members, staff, and development committees, the Fundraising Chair helps set fundraising goals, supports the development and implementation of fundraising plans, and monitors progress toward revenue objectives. The Chair encourages and equips board members to participate meaningfully in fundraising activities, including donor cultivation, stewardship, and advocacy.
As a member of the Board, the Fundraising Chair upholds fiduciary and governance responsibilities, participates actively in board meetings and committees, and serves as an ambassador for the organization. This role plays a key part in strengthening donor relationships, communicating impact, and ensuring the organization has the resources needed to advance its mission.
