RECREATION

VISION AND MISSION:

VISION:

It is the vision of the Recreation Pillar to create a happy and healthy community where residents can live, learn and play. We are working to enhance the quality of life and nurture the health and well-being of all of our Wasatch County citizens.

MISSION:

The mission of the Recreation Pillar is to provide stewardship of our county’s natural, cultural, and historical resources while fostering the needs of both residents and visitors for recreational pursuits. We aim to enrich the quality of life for our residents by providing a variety of recreation activities, parks and facilities that promote health, wellness, and fun for all ages.

INITIATIVES:

CURRENT INITIATIVES:

Current programs include involvement in trail expansion projects and a new mountain biking skills park, investing in our differently-abled athletes in conjunction with Intermountain Adaptive Multisports, winter and summer sports at Soldier Hollow, and adding more pickleball courts to our valley.

We are also hosting a Cornhole Tournament to raise funds for Wasatch Community Foundation. CLICK HERE to register.

PAST INITIATIVES:
