As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you for standing with us and for showing up—again and again—for our community. Because of your generosity, time, and belief in our mission, we were able to create real, lasting impact across Wasatch County.
Celebrating 25 Years of Community Impact
This year marked a major milestone as we celebrated our 25th Anniversary. The event, held at Midway Town Hall, was a wonderful success, made possible through sponsorships, silent auction donations, and program pledges. It was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when a community comes together with shared purpose—and a celebration of the partnerships that have carried this work forward for 25 years.

Education & Lifelong Learning
Education continues to be at the heart of our work. With the help of a pillar of volunteers, in 2025 we accomplished many things:
- 550 volunteer hours dedicated to education initiatives
- More than $25,000 funded toward educational programs
- Launched the Women Rising Program, supporting four women in continuing their education
- Expanded programming to include Women in Adult Education
- Celebrated our first Adult Education graduate through the jail education program
- Expanded Lifelong Learning opportunities to include senior citizens
- Completed two successful CAPS projects, engaging students in real-world problem solving
We are also proud to have created the Koler Berkely Kindness Scholarship, honoring student board member Koler Berkey and his commitment to compassion and service among our youth.
Partnerships That Strengthen Our Community
Collaboration made our impact stronger this year. We welcomed new partners including the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office and the Wasatch County Library, and continued meaningful partnerships with organizations like The Slope.
A standout partnership continues to be the Heber Valley Self-Reliance Group. In collaboration with Wasatch Community Foundation, this group offers programs free of charge to the community, teaching practical ways to increase self-reliance, preparedness, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. These year-round offerings empower families with skills that strengthen both households and the broader community.
Health & Well-Being
Our Health Pillar supported both physical and mental wellness through:
- The annual Day of Thanksgiving Event
- The annual Children’s Health Clinic
- Adding a Mental Health Therapist from Holy Cross Ministries to support underserved community members
- The Healthy School Awards Program, recognizing outstanding school lunch programs
- Sponsorship of Dinner in the Park, encouraging social connection and physical activity
Arts & Access
Thanks to a $27,000 TAP grant, we are continuing to strengthen community access to the arts. The Arts Pillar also raised funds to sponsor Latino children attending local theater performances of Aladdin, opening doors to creativity, imagination, and cultural connection.

Human Services
Our Human Services programs continued to meet essential needs:
- Ongoing food drives supporting children with weekend backpack meals
- Christmas Food Bags for families during the holidays
- A Summer Mobile Food Pantry in partnership with CCPC
- Year-round preparedness events hosted by the Heber Valley Self-Reliance Group, helping families prepare for challenges and hard times
Recreation & Outdoor Connection
Our Recreation Pillar made meaningful strides in outdoor access and youth development:
- Partnered with Wasatch County and the Wasatch Trails Foundation to raise funds for a new pump track at Southfields Park
- Supported the Wasatch High School Mountain Bike Team, investing in youth and healthy recreation
- Helped fund scholarships for kids to participate in Soldier Hollow Nordic Center’s Kickers and Gliders program
The Recreation Pillar also proudly supports the 4-H Program—America’s largest youth development organization—in their horsemanship program for youth.
Looking Ahead to 2026
None of this work happens without you. As we look ahead, we invite you to join us in 2026 as we continue to celebrate our partnerships and expand our work in the community. Whether through giving, volunteering, attending events, or serving on one of our five committees—our pillars—your involvement helps shape the future of Wasatch County.
If you haven’t already made a gift this year, we encourage you to consider donating. Every contribution—no matter the size—truly makes a difference. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more connected community—now and for generations to come.
With heartfelt appreciation,
