Each September, WCF provides health and dental exams for uninsured children. During this exam, we often identify and help address sometimes serious health and dental needs, ie. heart murmurs, impacted molars, hip problems, psychiatric needs. WCF leverages volunteer doctors and nurses, but needs to cover cost for equipment, hygienists, and the cost of follow up care/procedures, improving the quality of life for these children and their families.
