Celebrating a Transformative Partnership with Angstrom Development Group and The Slope
The Wasatch Community Foundation (WCF) is honored to announce a remarkable philanthropic partnership with Angstrom Development Group, the team behind The Slope—Heber City’s first luxury alpine mountain village.
As part of their commitment to strengthening the community where they live, work, and build, The Slope has pledged $1,000 for every residence sold—an estimated $202,000 in total—to WCF. These funds will directly support our mission to enhance education, health, human services, the arts and recreation across the valley.
Most importantly, this generous gift will establish a dedicated platform focused on the well-being of children, ensuring that every dollar benefits local youth and helps them live healthier, happier lives.
“We are thrilled to welcome The Slope in partnership to our community and are thankful to have them as a valued partner in advancing our mission to strengthen families in our valley,” said Kathy Carr, Vice Chair of the Wasatch Community Foundation. “The Wasatch Community Foundation looks forward to a lasting partnership as we work together to help our youth live happier and healthier lives supported by this generous donation.”
The impact of this partnership extends well beyond philanthropy. The development is projected to create more than 1,000 local jobs, generate $4.45 million annually in tax revenue, and provide long-term career opportunities through its hotel, retail, commercial, and multifamily components. The Slope is envisioned as a hub that blends iconic architecture, wellness-focused hospitality, and lifestyle amenities—all while prioritizing prosperity for Heber Valley.
Neil Goldman, partner at Angstrom Development Group, emphasized this dual vision:
“We’re committed not only to building an extraordinary resort and community hub for locals and visitors, but to building prosperity for Heber Valley. Our donations to the Wasatch Community Foundation are just the beginning. We are excited to continue investing in future initiatives that give back to this incredible community.”
For WCF, this milestone comes as we celebrate our 25th anniversary—a meaningful reminder of what can be accomplished when visionary leaders invest in both place and people. We are deeply grateful to Angstrom Development Group and The Slope for ensuring that as Heber Valley grows, our children and families thrive right alongside it.
Together, we are building a legacy that will benefit generations to come.
