Corey Noyes grew up in Seattle, Washington, and moved to the Heber Valley more than a decade ago. At the time, Heber was one of the few places his family could afford to put down roots — a practical decision that turned into one of the luckiest moments of serendipity in his life. What began as a move based on necessity quickly became home.
Corey earned a degree in finance and began his career working at a large financial firm, where he gained a firsthand view of how confusing and disconnected financial advice can feel for many people. Wanting to build something more personal and transparent, he eventually started his own independent firm. Five years ago, he opened Balanced Capital in Heber City with the goal of helping individuals and families simplify their finances and feel confident about the decisions they’re making.
Corey lives in Heber City with his wife, Berkley, and their two children, Rex and Molly. Raising a son with special needs has shaped the way he views community — reinforcing the importance of patience, understanding, and systems that support people at every stage of life. It has also deepened his belief that communities are strongest when they consider the needs of everyone, not just the majority.
Corey is proud to serve on the Wasatch Community Foundation Board because of the organization’s focus on projects that benefit the entire Heber Valley. He values WCF’s commitment to thoughtful, inclusive initiatives that strengthen the community as a whole and improve quality of life for those who live here.
In his free time, Corey enjoys running, swimming, cycling, and competing in triathlons. He also plays hockey, practices karate, and spends time restoring old Toyotas — usually with a project or two in the garage at any given time.
