Carrie Zabaldo

Arts Pillar Chair

Carrie was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, where she first discovered her love of theater. She studied theater and communications at the College of Southern Idaho before serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England. After returning home, she met her husband, Nathan, and together they have raised four children.

In 2020, Carrie and her family moved to the Heber Valley and quickly grew to appreciate the area’s vibrant arts community and the generosity of the people who call it home. In 2021, she founded Charitable Acts Theatre, a local theatre company built on a unique philanthropic model that donates 100% of ticket proceeds to local charities. Through its productions, the organization brings the community together through live theatre while supporting nonprofit organizations that serve families across the valley.

She also currently serves on the Wasatch County Arts Council and the National Advisory Council for Monuments of the Americas, where she contributes to efforts that support cultural heritage and community engagement through the arts.

Carrie is passionate about fostering meaningful partnerships among arts organizations and creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience the transformative power of the arts. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve in the role of Arts Pillar Chair and values the Wasatch Community Foundation’s ability to bring people, ideas, and resources together to create meaningful impact across the community.

Outside of her community work, she enjoys traveling with her family, exploring Utah’s remarkable landscapes, and spending time together in the outdoors.
