Vote YES for RAP Tax

October 8, 2021

Heber City residents will be voting on Tuesday, November 2nd. One of the line items you will be voting on is the new RAP Tax.

RAP stands for Recreation Arts and Parks. Matt Brown, City Manager, and Wasatch Community Foundation are in favor of the RAP tax.

The tax itself will only cost $0.01 for every $10 you spend in Wasatch County, and excludes grocery items. The tax benefits our local recreation, arts and park facilities, with an increase in revenue of approximately $800,000/ year for these venues. Most counties in Utah already have a RAP tax, and an estimated 60% of the revenue is anticipated from visitors to our county.

Do your small part, and vote in favor of the RAP Tax.
